Is Wifi available?

Yes.  We have two incoming broadband lines. Reception varies depending on your device. 

Do I need a car?

To enjoy the island to the fullest, we recommend hiring a car for your self catering holiday in Guernsey. There is ample car parking at The Ellingham; however, if you choose not to hire a car, a bus stop is within walking distance of the cottages.

Is there an additional charge for electricity?

No. At the Ellingham Self Catering Cottages Guernsey, your electricity is fully included in your tariff.

Are there laundry facilities?

Yes. All cottages are equipped with a washing machine. Additional laundry facilities are on site.

Can you provide a cot and/or highchair?

Yes.

Do you supply all linens and towels and are your kitchens fully equipped?

Yes, yes and yes.

Do you provide Beach Towels?

We provide beach towels in our Prestige self catering cottages only. 

What time is check in/check out?

You may check in after 2:30. Check out is 9:00 a.m.  We kindly ask you to honour this to allow us time to adequately prepare the cottages for our guests.

Are the cottages equipped with telephones?

No. However, with notice we will arrange for a telephone to be placed in your cottage with Guernsery rate phone cards (£5 each).  

Is housekeeping provided?

Yes, once a week. Additional housekeeping is available with prior notice. An hourly fee will apply based on your needs.

Do you provide Welcome packs?

We provide sugar, tea and coffee.  Prestige cottages feature a more extensive 'Welcome Pack' including fresh Guernsey milk, butter, bread and more! 

With prior notice, more extensive supplies can be supplied and billed to your unit. On request, we will email you a standard grocery list. Delivery charges are based on quantities. Please ask if you would like more information. 

Do you have an Access Statement?
